Nowadays Open Joint-Stock Company Grodno Meat Processing and Packing Factory is one of the largest Belarusian full-period meat-processing enterprises. The enterprise satisfies all current requirements and standards and in the conditions of the increasing competition on the market of meat industry it produces the production which is able to satisfy most exacting buying tastes from conservative to exclusive ones.
The success of the enterprise would be impossible without a united work of its staff, people holding the same views and high rank professionals for whom high-class daily work is a rule but not a heroic deed.
The success of the enterprise would also be impossible without our reliable partners. They are leading agricultural enterprises of Grodno region, suppliers of materials and equipment. The largest of them deserves a special mentioning. We are talking about the trading networks of Belarus which are developing very successfully nowadays and influence on the assortment policy of producers.

In 2002 the renovation of a sausage shop thermal section was carried out and a pack washing shop was reconstructed and modernized.
According to the State Programme of development of processing industry within an agricultural sector for 2003-2004, approved by the Decree of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus 27.09.2002 є 1336, OJSC Grodno Meat Processing and Packing Factory was included into the register of investment projects for 2003-2004.
The enterprise has executed all directives connected with this Programme realization.
For the adoption of new technologies and implementation of high-performance equipment which will provide the output of competitive production, a required technical preparation has been carried out in the enterprise. The reconstruction of all production units has been fulfilled.
A new slaughter line with a capacity of 60 heads per hour was put into operation. The equipment was provided by a Dutch company Navi.
Among the largest investment projects realized in 2009 there is an early launch of the offal sausage shop. With the opening of the shop our meat-packing plant will strengthen its position in economy class food segment. With the shop introduction, the output has grown up to 6 tons per day, which is 50 per cent more. In future the output of this product increase up to 20 tons.
Another important investment project is the replacement of former territories for offal processing by a new section for smoked sausage production. The section started functioning at the beginning of November 2009. It make it possible to double productivity and reach 90 tons per month.
All these reconstructions help to intensify the enterprise producing capacity.
Besides its main production activity OJSC Grodno Meat Processing and Packing Factory is actively developing agricultural tourism providing all conditions for rest of Grodno citizens and its guests.
Aiming at the developing the town infrastructure and its history preserving, in 2007 a wonderful agricultural and tourist complex was built. It was stylized like a mansion of the 19th century and called Grodno estate Korobchitsy.
On the territory of 16 hectares with a wonderful landscape, tiny and large ponds one can see forests with wild animals. At first this territory with was rented, later bought and the construction of a unique tourist complex started.
In the middle of the estate there is a territory where wild animals - wild boars and deer - walk. Visitors have an opportunity to observe them. In open-air cages several dozen of exotic birds live. On the banks of the lake one can find a summerhouse for recreation after daily routine and problems. Behind the lake, on the river, there is a place for swimming birds, wild and domestic animals. After the estate sightseeing tour which will take you 1.5-2 hours you will have an opportunity to enjoy a national cuisine in the restaurant Zevanny Castle. Here you can taste a traditional proprietary drink - mead which is made according to old recipe, sbiten` (a hot drink made of honey and spices) and mulled wine.

OJSC Grodno Meat Processing and Packing Factory has been working since 1972 and for its 40-year-history it acquired a reputation of a reliable partner and one of the leaders in the branch.
During the whole period of production activity, industrial capacities were constantly intensified, and re-equipment took place. For this period of time a whole number of investment projects have successfully been realized. In particular:
In 2001 a boiler room of an Austrian company Bertsch-laska was set in operation, which ensured a large economic success.
In a sausage shop, climatic cameras of a German company Vemag were installed, a new section for processing of fresh-killed meat was set in operation, a reconstruction of the finished products shop took place. A line for cooked meats packing in gaseous medium was installed, which allowed to prolong production shelf-life in distribution network.
A pig-slaughter line (company Schulte, Germany) with a capacity 180 heads per hour was put into operation. The installation of the new line let triple the working efficiency.
A refrigerator and a compressor shop were reconstructed, which provided an adoption of new meat and meat products thermal treatment technologies and improved working conditions. A new accredited production laboratory was created. And new pattern personal service rooms meeting all sanitary regulations and requirements were built.
Monthly the enterprise produces:
2400 tones of 1st category meat and offal
2000 tones of sausage production
600 tons of prepared food including meat dumplings
Today the meat-packing plant outputs and offers more than 350 sorts of production. They are sausages, prepared food, pork and beef. There are various kinds of vacuum and gas packing, cutting. Quality and quantity of sausage production have increased, cost price has been reduced, additional work places have been created, working conditions have been improved, technological and sanitary culture have been bettered.
The canteen has been reconstructed, up-to-date equipment has been installed. Separate meals for factory shops and sections have been organized.
Korobchitsy is not only an entertaining complex but also a brilliant sample of Belarusian architecture. Here one can feel the spirit of national way of life and touch the beauties of nature. This is the place for rest.
Today in Grodno estate Korobchitsy you can see: a stable for horses and ponies of various breeds, a riding school where one can ride a horse or a pony under the direction of a coach. Or you can hire a carriage with a guide who will tell you about rich flora and fauna of the estate. Just-married often rent a wedding cortege consisting of antique coaches. For concerts and festive events an open-air concert area with a stage were built. 150 spectators can take seats here.
In July 2011 in the vicinity of Karobchitsy OJSC Grodno Meat Processing unveiled a new tourist attraction - the historical and cultural complex Grodno Fortress - Guerrilla camp.
Visiting a new tourist attraction you can see how they lived and fought the Belarusian guerrilla - to visit the dugout, timber dining room, eat bread, cooked in a Russian stove, mess with the smoke, sip a glass of strong drink, which is brewed in the old recipe. Everyone who came here to touch the history of the Belarusian people, you have to remember, cherish and multiply!
Now the enterprise is reconstructing its agricultural complex Porechanka. The territory of the complex is 1921 hectares, of which 921 hectares of agricultural land, including 418 hectares of arable land. The rest of the territory is rivers, lakes, meadows and forests. On the territory of Porechanka the enterprise is planting bog bilberry with the perspective of the expansion of the area under cultivation up to 150 hectares of forests and arable lands.
In August 2011 the branch Porechanka has earned a new and original business projects - opened Fazanary. Primarily this project is to expand the hunting industry, which will help develop agro-tourism and attract tourists to the Grodno region.
To implement all the plans we can only by means of hard daily work.

And the most important thing is that for our team a standard is not a heroic deed.
